The “Wax” series is a collection of lamps produced using a flexible mold process I designed to allow for variations in form and size. The first series was intended for the bookshop ‘SheSaid Books’ in Berlin, these custom-made lamps were tailored to complement the unique interior of the space. The primary aim of this project is to evoke introspection by exploring the complex relationship between the human body and its imagined representations through light and shadow.The “Wax” lamps offer a unique lighting solution that blends form and function. The custom-made lamps for ‘SheSaid Books’ not only illuminate the space but also serve as sculptural elements that enrich the interior design. The interdisciplinary nature of the project integrates design, craftsmanship, and a deep understanding of space.
